OTHER CEREMONIES.

Our life is full of many events to celebrate:

Ceremony has always had a place of special importance in society.

Ceremony is extremely important to deliver a sense of belonging and is important to the values and beliefs of our culture.

RENEWAL OF WEDDING VOWS

The reasons marriage vows are renewed can vary depending on the couple and the circumstances. Following are some of the reasons:

. Some couples simply wish to declare their continuing love to each other and their friends

. They may wish to commemorate a milestone e.g. being married a number of years.

. Other couples may have been married overseas/interstate and now wish to celebrate their marriage with family and friends

A Renewal of Vows ceremony can be very formal or very relaxed, but it’s most importantly an affirmation of continuinglove and commitment.

COMMITMENT CEREMONY

For many reasons some people may not legally marry:

This ceremony closely follows a traditional ceremony and is usually reflective of the beliefs, ideals and intentions of the two people who are in love.

If married overseas some couples have this ceremony as a re-enactment of their wedding day so that their friends and family can this time be with them to celebrate their commitment to each other.

BABY NAMING CEREMONY.

The arrival of a newborn baby is one of the great moments to celebrate in life. This is a wonderful way to officially welcome a child into a community of family and friends. It is a happy personal and celebratory occasion.

FUNERALS.
